The CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course is the most recognised qualification which is recognised towards attaining the learner Green Labourer Card, also known as the CSCS card. This training course is designed to aid the understanding of potential hazards the construction worker may face on site.

This qualification is aimed at those who undertake work to produce products from glass and related materials in the glass processing sector. This covers the handling of products throughout the process. Units in this qualification cover cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing the products, including decoration.

This qualification is aimed at those who have responsibility for carrying out work in construction related wood occupations in the workplace and onsite.

This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in either site carpentry including first and second fixing , those who are involved in shopfitting site work or those who carry out shopfitting bench work.

This GQA Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations (Construction) qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means the learner must be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables the learner, to recognise their skills, knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating their competence in the workplace when carrying out the role of a bricklayer.

This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in Plastering activities in the workplace. It is not expected that candidates working in this industry all do the same activities so the qualification has been developed to allow opportunities for those carrying out work in either solid or fibrous Plastering.

This qualification is aimed at you if you are experienced in preparing surfaces and applying surface coatings by brush and roller and hanging wall coverings such as standard and foundation papers and / or non-standard width wall coverings. You may also be involved in applying specialist finishing techniques including stencilling and/or applying coatings by airless spray methods.

This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in preparing surfaces and applying decorative finishes to surfaces. It is not expected that candidates working in this industry all do the same activities; the qualification is structured to ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility within the units available. The qualification requires candidates to prove they have the skills and knowledge to prepare surfaces and apply surface coatings by brush and roller and use access equipment.

This qualification is aimed those who carry out supervisory activities in a specific trade in the Construction Industry.

This qualification is aimed at those who have responsibility for organising and supervising work on Construction sites including the planning and controlling of work methods, allocation of equipment, personnel and materials, and ensuring work is completed to the required standard and ensuring communication is clear and effective.

This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in the Management of Construction Contracting Operations.

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace.

This qualification is aimed at those who have responsibility for managing Construction sites including the planning and controlling all aspects of specific works on site.

This qualification is aimed at those who work as installers of curtain walling systems. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2, although some qualifications may have units at different levels, and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the job.

This qualification is aimed at those who undertake work to produce fabricated products such as door and window frames and units, conservatories and fabrications used in curtain walling systems etc. Units in this qualification cover the processing and fabricating of frames by joining and assembly.

This qualification has been developed specifically for those who carry out both surveying and installation work of windows, doors and/or conservatories. This qualification is at Level 3, and should be taken by those who are experienced and capable of dealing with a wide range of problems and situations, including working with installations that have complex requirements.

This qualification is those work to maintain glazing installations (usually windows and doors). The standards cover the most important aspects of the job.

This qualification is aimed at those who install doors, windows and conservatories or curtain walling.

This qualification is aimed at those who undertake work to produce products from glass and related materials in the glass processing sector.

This qualification is aimed those who carry out activities in the Construction Industry working with glass and/or glass related products. The qualification has a core group of 4 mandatory units that cover the generic areas including Health and Safety, transport and storage of tools, materials and equipment, checking and confirming the job specification and communication skills.

This qualification is aimed at those who undertake work to produce fabricated products such as door and window frames and units, conservatories, and glazing systems used in curtain walling etc. Units in this qualification include the processing of materials, applying coatings and treatments and fabricating of frames by joining and assembly.

This qualification is aimed at those who work as Installers of Photovoltaic Panels, primarily in domestic properties.

This qualification is aimed at those who work as glaziers, installing glass into frames (e.g., windows, doors), and those who work to maintain glazing installations (usually windows and doors). There are 2 pathways, 1 for “mainstream” glazing, the other for those involved in installing Fire Resistant Glazing.
